Welcome to my personal website!  I am a choral conductor and teach vocal music at Whetstone High School, and also serve as the music director for traditional worship at Northwest United Methodist Church.

This was my performance in the 2018 Norfolk Chamber Music and Choral Conducting Festival, in western Connecticut under the mentoring of Simon Carrington. The work is a Magnificat setting by the 19th century German composer, which has been edited and published by Martin Banner of Alliance Music.

“Die Himmel Erzaehlen” by Heinrich Schuetz (sung in English), with Notre Dame Concordia, sung in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

This is my speaking performance at the 2020 Notre Dame Graduate School Shaheen 3-Minute Thesis Finals. I had three minutes to present my dissertation research on Steve Reich’s acclaimed chamber work Tehillim. My dissertation delves into the rehearsal and performance issues of this incredible but challenging composition.

This is a performance of the latter two sections of Philip Glass’s Madrigal Opera, with Luis Enrique Vargas playing viola and Dr. Carmen-Helena Tellez conducting. I’m singing tenor in the middle! We had the privilege of Mr. Glass being in attendance for this concert and got to meet him after the concert.

Khachaturian’s “Toccata,” perfomed in 2014 at Worthington UMC in Columbus, Ohio.
